As therapy, welfare, and mental health professionals, we face human complexities, pain, and deep moral dilemmas every day. In days when reality shakes the foundations of our work, our therapeutic presence and commitment to professional ethics are more important and critical than ever. We cannot afford to stand idly by.
Out of this understanding, we developed the “Hineni” tool.
What is the “Hineni” tool? “Hineni” is a space for pausing and reflection, developed specifically for the community of therapists and professionals. It is a practical tool designed to help us stop for a moment amidst our intensive work, and ask the right questions:
To reflect on our professional stance in the face of complex dilemmas in a crisis reality.
To examine our boundaries, role, and ethical responsibility – inside and outside the therapy room.
To find an inner anchor of meaning and stability, enabling us to continue holding the therapeutic space for others.
Our goal is to create a therapeutic community that does not turn a blind eye, but acts out of present awareness and collective responsibility. Our hope is that through shared and personal reflection with this tool, we will succeed in turning silence into a cry for peace, despair into action, and division into a deep and courageous connection.
We invite you to enter, experience the “Hineni” tool in your personal work, in the clinic, or in supervision, and be part of a movement of uncompromising ethical and professional action
